Pollution

A major negative influence on the environment and its inhabitants is pollution. Pollution is the adding of contaminants to the natural environment that cause adverse change. Carbon emissions have been increasing by 2% since 1971 and are estimated to rise by another 39% by 2030. By 2000, global chemical production had increased 400 times production in 1930. Pollution is usually easily recognizable, but the outcomes of pollution are not considered as often as they must be for a healthier and safer world.

Waste Disposal

Improper waste disposal is like a virus, it will keep spreading and causing damage to our ecosystem. We need to properly recycle so we do not cause Soil Contamination. Things like metals, plastics and paper can and should be recycled at a nearby recycle loocation. Waste Disposal not only damages our planet in numorous ways, it alos kills off animal life! The biggest impact we can have against Waste Disposal, is follow the classic three Rs;

Water Contamination

Water. The single most important combination of atoms for all life. Period.
Humans are one of the biggest factors in water pollution, thanks to the mess we have left behind. Our Industrial Waste contains massive ammouns of toxins and other dangerous pollutants including but not limited to asbestos, mercury, etc. In addition to our industrial waste, we have things like Mining activites and fracking, which releases a disgusting amount of dangerous chemicals.

What can we do to stop this? Well. There are a couple simple things you can do in the house that have a big effect.
When you cook, don't poor the fat into the drain. It can have a drastic inmpact to the environment
Got old pills and meds? Don't flush 'em! You can use the internet to find recommendations on how to correctly get rid of these products.
Don't use your toilet as a garbage can! Putting non-toilet friendly items into the toilet can do some SERIOUS damage to our environment

Deforestation

At the current rate of deforestation, the world's rainforests could completely vanish in a hundred years. Not only is this a loss of habitat for millions of species, but it removes gas absorbing trees and increases the speed of global warming. The easiest way to stop deforestation would be to stop cutting down trees, but financial realities make that unlikely. A better solution is to ensure that cutting is balanced by the planting of young trees. Good alternatives to cutting trees are using reclaimed wood from demolished structures or recycled paper and wasted material such as wood shavings and shreds of paper.

Fossil Fuels

Fossil Fuels are a finite resource. We will slowly run out of coal. Run out of oil. These are just a few things that society is now dependent on. We need to change this and fast! The use of fossile fuels increases all types of pollution and while was a great aid to mankind, can easily be it's downfall.
Install Solar Panels!
Buy an Electric Car!
These are all things that are unbelieveably benefical to the fight against Fossil Fuels.
